Love ‘Life After Racing‘
I want to tell you how glad I am to read the articles by Charlotte Gelston you have published. She has been a dear friend for more years than I will disclose!
Her patience, love and compassion for horses that need homes has exceeded all expectations. She truly has a “horse ministry,” as she herself calls her many, many successful horse placements. I have witnessed first-hand Charlotte’s amazing ability to trust a horse and know what person would “fit” with that animal’s particular personality. Over the years, so many horses and people have benefitted, including me, from Charlotte’s enormous enthusiasm and energy to find homes for horses with just the right person. This latest story you published [“He May Never Trot,” February 2015] is a very good example of Charlotte’s gifts at work. MARGIE TUCKERMAN, Sacramento, Calif |
